Icy windshield, warm heart

Tucson is five days from breaking an unusual weather record:  Five days in a row where the high temperature doesn't exceed 48 degrees.  Its as extreme as winter gets in this area.  The previous record was set back in 1971.  So, its unusual.

This morning was the first indication that we're in for a very cold run:  Ice on the Ken Carr car windshield.

I don't have an ice scraper, so I started the car and waited for the window defroster to do its thing.

Brrrrrrr.

Icy windshield in Tucson
I shook my butt at it, but oddly enough, it wasn't as successful at heating it up as I thought it would be.
