Kenparazzi: Police at Pima and Ridgeway

Anthony and Payton went to bed a while before I did last night.  I stayed up and watched TV for a while then took Lucky out for his last walk of the day at around 11:30 p.m.

While Lucky was dragging me down the sidewalk, I spotted flashing colored lights at the corner near the apartments.  I get excited seeing emergency lights so I grabbed a camera after walking the dog to capture whatever excitement was going on.

It appeared to be a traffic stop by the Tucson Police.  There were two units there and appeared that whomever was being stopped was either getting a DUI or was driving with a suspended license.  Of course, it could have been something else but the only evidence I had to go on was that the driver of the car was in the back of the police car.  I know this because the car that was pulled over was empty.

The funny thing is that I get really excited about this sort of thing, manage to get a few photos, and then feel let down because the moment's over so fast.

Sounds like a date I've had.

A couple of Tucson Police cars
on Ridgeway near Pima Street

The lights on top of the car are pretty, aren't they?
I can barely handle the excitement.

After walking to another area of the parking lot,
I was able to get a picture of the car that was pulled over.

Looks like an empty car to me.
Busted.
