When it comes to storm clouds, size matters

I was leaving the TV station tonight after a very long day, and even though it was 100 degrees outside at 6:30 p.m. I had to stop and take a few photos.

There were some huge and awesome looking storm clouds that were rolling out of the mountains north of Tucson heading south.  They later produced quite a bit of lightning for the midtown section of the city and some rain.  I live and work in the east and other than wind... none of the thunderstorm's effects were felt on this side of town.

This looks like it could be a painting.

Rain was coming down (and most of the lightning strikes)
