How to teach a dog to listen

This is Autumn, a dog that was a guest on the TV show today from the Humane Society.  We have a dog that needs a forever home on every week, and she is one of the sweetest dogs that has ever visited us.

In an off-TV-camera moment (but an on-Kenparazzi-camera moment), here's how you teach a dog to listen:
