Baja chicken quesadilla and pumpkin pumpkin pumpkin

Anthony is feeling much better after his respiratory chest infection from earlier this week. We were able to have dinner and do our usual Sunday grocery shopping.  It's nice to see him feeling better.

Dinner was at Macayo's at Broadway and Pantano.  We ate in a nearly empty restaurant (quite often we eat in completely empty restaurants, so it was a change of pace I suppose) and the server recognized us from our last visit months ago.  I'm not sure why he remembered us. Maybe it's because Anthony consumes so many chips and salsa before he actually eats what he orders.

Grocery shopping was at the Walmart Neighborhood Market at Broadway and Camino Seco.  It was pretty busy there tonight. The theme of the pictures I shot was definitely Halloween -- it's amazing how many products are now on the shelves this time of year that have some sort of pumpkin related theme / ingredient.

I'd like to say that it's a signal that fall is right around the corner but in this area, we really don't get a traditional fall season. It just stays hot until it gets cold and that's not until November.

These two servers sang Happy Birthday

on the other side of the restaurant.

Baja Chicken Quesadilla for Ken

Salad for Anthony.
That's why he had room
for all those chips.

of Anthony's cleavage)

Dole Mini Bananas
Reminds me of a date I've had.

Eureka! Seeds the Day bread
It's like having bread with

Choosy mothers must love this.

He really liked it.

Kicking off the pumpkin / Halloween theme
of pictures:
Pillsbury Pumpkin shape sugar cookies
Pumpkins don't usually have green eyelids.

Scary Halloween Monsters University sugar cookies
Eeeek.

Spooky Cat shape sugar cookies.
The Pillsbury Doughboy with the flashlight

Halloween Oreo cookies.
These taste like regular Oreos
but have orange colored crème.

Pillsbury Toaster Strudel Pumpkin Pie

Glade Pumpkin Pie Diner air freshener.
I did buy this -- now when I poop
it smells like shitty pumpkin pie.

Halloween is Anthony's favorite time of the year.
That's Anthony on the right in case
you weren't sure.

Anthony was over me taking his picture
today when he went looking for
Mazola oil.
I've learned not to ask.
