How to stay dry when you don't have an umbrella

A strong monsoon thunderstorm rolled through Tucson's east side today complete with plenty of lightning and thunder.

One of the station photographers needed to head outside and didn't have an umbrella. So, she improvised... with a large blue tarp.

This must have been how people stayed dry in the olden days.

Preparing to head outside
in the pouring rain armed
with nothing but a big blue
tarp and her wits.
Yoo hoo!
Your tarp train is dragging
on the ground.

My co-workers are
an inventive bunch.
