Cinco de Mayo 2013

I didn't do anything to celebrate Cinco de Mayo this year.  Nothing specific to the holiday, anyway.

Today was a sleep in day.  Then, I finished my laundry for the weekend.  That was followed by a trip to Petsmart with Lucky to get his nails clipped, dinner at KFC, grocery shopping at Walmart Neighborhood Market, and a stop at Target.

The closest I came to any kind of association to Cinco de Mayo today was moving a bottle of Corona beer in the fridge to put groceries away.  I had to get my Little Debbie snack cakes in there!

Anthony watches through the window at Petsmart while Lucky gets his nails clipped

The Petsmart groomer is attempting to clip Lucky's nails and he was being difficult.
The woman is a saint.

Boneless Original Recipe chicken at KFC, with mashed potatoes and gravy and a biscuit
I do love me some chicKEN!

A nearly empty restaurant at KFC on Tanque Verde Road...
except for Anthony's right arm and an older couple two booths down.

A mousetrap at the front door of Walmart Neighborhood Market at 22nd and Craycroft in Tucson.
I am thinking this little trap in a doorway that is ten feet wide isn't much of a defense against mice.
But, maybe they'd prefer to go in there than an entire store full of food.

Bimbo Donitas - Sugared donuts
FYI - Bimbo is a slang term from the 1970's for a woman who wasn't very bright.

Honey Nut Cheerios Medley Crunch
Who doesn't love a good medley?  Sing it, gurrrrrl!

Sneaky photo of Anthony at Target
He is in search of the clearance display

Kellogg's Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory cereal
It looks more like trail mix than cereal.

I found Mrs. Potato Head and Mr. Potato Head... cute and cozy on a Target shelf.
KY Date Night Bonus Pack - "turn dinner into an unforgettable evening".
I took this over to Mrs. Potato and Mr. Potato Head to help them out.

I wasn't going to post this photo but Anthony gave me permission.
He and I were having a disagreement on whether he should buy the candleholder he has in his hand
on clearance, and I took his picture to be obnoxious.
I didn't realize until I unloaded the photos from my camera that the dude
at the end of the aisle was in the photo.
