The Arizona Lottery sold a ticket for "The Pick" this past week that resulted in a winner here in Tucson! (No, it wasn't me. Darn.)
The winning ticket is worth $1.7 million and was sold at the Giant gas station on West Ajo Way. If you purchased a ticket there recently check it. You have some money due!
And, I'll gladly accept cash as a thank you for letting you know!
Update (12/16/09): The winner turned in the winning ticket choosing the cash option (over $900,000). She was from Amado, Arizona which is off of I-19 south of Tucson.
