I have Ninny Muggins shorts

I bought a pair of shorts to wear to the Meet Me Downtown 5k last week and noticed on the tag that the shorts have a name: Ninny Muggins.

I've never named a pair of shorts before that I've owned. Now that I think about it, I've never named any of the clothing I've owned. If I did, I'd name my underwear: "Cotton Coverbuns".

You're pretty comfortable Ninny Muggins. And reasonably priced.

Ninny Muggins the name
and hanging around is my game.

Your cream gravy is great for dipping

It's Sunday, the weekly dinner and grocery shopping day with Anthony.

Today's dinner was at the Speedway Blvd and Woodland Ave Whataburger. We both chose chicken. I had the strips with cream gravy dipping sauce, Texas toast, and fries. Anthony went nugget style with more traditional dipping sauces like Bar-B-Q and Honey Mustard.

Sundays are always great to eat out, people tend to stay home in Tucson especially in the summer. We had the restaurant to ourselves until we were almost finished eating. Maybe Tucsonans are scared to leave their homes now that they know Sundays are a day I usually go out to eat.

Grocery shopping was at Walmart Market at 22nd and Craycroft. The store wasn't terribly busy and we got in and out pretty quickly. Nothing unusual about this shopping trip.

It's the end of another weekend and I am finishing my laundry now and the only other thing I really got accomplished this weekend was hanging up a pair of shelves that Anthony has been asking me to deal with for ages. It's a good thing I'm around or he wouldn't have anything hanging on the walls since he has no idea how to hold a hammer.

That's what she said.

Meat on meat on a bun with some chips

Carl's Jr. was a guest on the TV show this week, and they brought their newest sandwich creation: The Most American Thickburger.

If you like meat on your meat, then this is the sandwich for you. It's a beef patty, a split hot dog on top of that, potato chips on the sandwich, the usual condiments for a burger (tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, etc.) and all on a bun baked fresh in the store.

I had to run the show from the control room that day because one of our staff was on vacation. So, I loaned my camera to my co-worker Lee to take some pictures and this is what was on the memory card when I downloaded the pictures today. It looked pretty darned delicious.

Caitlyn KENner

The biggest buzz on the internet this week seems to be the cover photo from the Vanity Fair June 2015 edition that features Bruce Jenner, now being identified as female Caitlyn Jenner.

My co-worker and friend Alex seized the opportunity and did a Photoshop job on the cover photo. He transformed it into a photo featuring yours truly.

I've named it "Caitlyn KENner". I find it hilarious (and a bit disturbing).

Thanks Alex. You've created another masterpiece.

The hoe didn't say anything

A hoe showed up on today's TV show.

I can't seem to resist mildly racy jokes when something like this happens. We had a guest today that chatted about harvesting desert plants and they brought a hoe as a prop.

The hoe ended up in front of the set. It didn't say anything. The hoe just laid there.

There's a hoe on my TV screen.
The jokes write themselves.
