Superbowl Sunday 2013

The Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49'ers 34-31 in Superbowl 47 at the Superdome in New Orleans today.

I didn't attend any Superbowl parties or even watch much of the game.  The advantage of doing some shopping during the Superbowl is that there are less crowds out than usual.  So, that's exactly what I did.  Anthony and I had dinner at El Taco Tote on Wilmot Road and then went grocery shopping at Walmart Neighborhood Market on 22nd and Craycroft.  The crowds were light at both places.

I did miss the excitement of the power outage at the Superdome in the 3rd quarter and Beyonce's halftime show.  Not having to wait in lines at the restaurant or the grocery store were pretty awesome though.

The Superbowl Sunday Kenparazzi photos:

Our table number at El Taco Tote was 47.
An amazing coincidence since today was Superbowl 47.
This was not planned and I didn't realize it until I downloaded the pictures from my camera hours later.

A nearly empty El Taco Tote restaurant.
Anthony and I seem to eat at empty restaurants quite often.
By the way, they didn't have the Superbowl on the TV's in the restaurant, they had Univision on instead.

Anthony's dinner at El Taco Tote.
He's about to add some color to an otherwise brown meal.

Green goo and red salsa being poured onto Anthony's rice.
It's almost like he sneezed on it.

A pretty sunset looking west outside of El Taco Tote

This is a gynecologist's office across the street from El Taco Tote.
I call this piece of Ken Carr Photo Art: "Sunset over a gynocologist's office".
It was harder to name than you think.

Sneaky photo of Anthony #1:
At the Wells Fargo walk up ATM at 5th and Wilmot.

The hot dog shelves at Walmart Neighborhood Market at 22nd and Craycroft.
Based on the empty shelves, I'm guessing that hot dogs were served at a lot of Superbowl parties.

Heinz Ketchup flavors: Real Jalapeno, Balsamic Vinegar, and Hot & Spicy.
Personally, I love regular plain ol' ketchup.

Beaver brand Mustard and Horseradish
Look at all of those varieties of Beaver.

Sneaky photo of Anthony #2:
He's grabbing a bottle of Beaver mustard.
It's the first time I've ever seen him hold Beaver anything.

These Caramel Apple Pie cookies by Pepperidge Farm look ridiculously delicious.

Limited Edition Pringles Salsa de Chile Habanero chips
Aye Carumba.

Mad Housewife Chardonnay Wine
She looks nice on the bottle now, but I bet she's throwing stuff and calling her man an asshole after drinking the wine.

I spotted this on an end cap at Walmart Market:
Someone left Black Pepper next to the Acid Reducer.
I believe this is called "reconsidering a purchase".

Superbowl Sunday meant a rather empty Walmart Neighborhood Market
(Note: A woman in a nun habit walked by the end of that aisle just after I took the photo).

Sneaky photo of Anthony #3:
He's looking at nuts.
Cashews to be exact.

He's looking at Band-Aids... while a girl in ugly pajama pants goes strolling by.
Next time try dressing better when you go to the store, girl... or you'll end up on my website.
